BOH Prep / Utility - Part Time Super Taco Job Summary Super Taco is seeking a reliable and motivated BOH Prep / Utility team member to join our fast-paced kitchen staff. In this essential back-of-house restaurant role, you'll support our cooks, Lead Cook, and General Manager to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold the highest standards in food preparation and safety. Key Responsibilities Food Preparation Prepare high-quality ingredients and menu items according to food handlers guidelines and established recipes Set up and stock prep and cook stations with necessary supplies Ensure all food items are prepared to proper temperatures and quality standards Assist with catering tasks and processes when needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas and equipment Kitchen Operations Report any broken equipment or needed repairs to management Follow all opening, shift change, and closing procedures Comply with health, safety, and food handling regulations at all times Assist with training new kitchen staff as directed Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service Complete other tasks or projects as assigned by the Lead Cook, General Manager, MOD, or owner(s) Team Support Promote and uphold Super Taco’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values Maintain a positive, professional attitude, even under pressure Be flexible with job duties, assisting as Hospitality Helper or Cook when needed Requirements Experience in a fast-paced kitchen, restaurant, or food service environment preferred Familiarity with food preparation, cooking procedures, and safe kitchen equipment use Ability to multitask, follow written and verbal instructions, and self-motivate Must have or be willing to obtain a current food handlers card Strong knife handling and basic computer/phone skills Must provide and wear correct uniform: non-slip shoes, nametag, Super Taco shirt, jeans, hair up with hair cap, nails short, no earrings, apron Physically able to stand for entire shift (up to four hours), lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally Able to work in hot or cold kitchen environments Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Schedule Part-time hours; must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
