Exciting full-time contract opportunities are available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to make a meaningful difference in local elementary schools near Waterbury, CT. You’ll join a supportive environment, working with inspiring young learners and collaborating with dedicated education professionals. These roles start immediately and run through June 11, 2027.

As a valued member of the school community, you’ll provide essential speech and language services to elementary students. You may split your schedule between two school sites, ensuring a dynamic workweek and variety in your daily routine. Each position averages 35 hours per week, fully onsite, with multiple openings to meet growing needs.

Ideal candidates possess strong clinical and interpersonal skills, bringing energy and expertise to advance students’ communication and academic success. While candidates with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are strongly desired, outstanding Clinical Fellow (CF) applicants are also welcomed—supervision will be provided, though district supervision resources are limited. Please note, positions are not open to SLPAs.

Preferred Background:

• School-based SLP experience required
• Current, active Speech-Language Pathology license in CT
• CCCs strongly preferred; CFs will be considered if supervision is possible
• Willingness and ability to work in-person across two elementary school sites if needed
• Must complete district fingerprinting and background checks
• Upfront licenses are valued
• SLPAs not eligible for this role

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering individualized and group therapy for elementary students
• Attending IEP meetings, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with educational staff
• Providing bilingual support if applicable
