Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to clients seeking outpatient care.

• Conduct in-depth assessments to identify clients' relational dynamics and mental health needs, crafting tailored treatment plans and setting achievable therapeutic objectives.

• Apply family systems theory and systemic interventions to address complex relationship dynamics, communication barriers, and family stressors during therapy.

• Deliver immediate crisis intervention and support when necessary, prioritizing the safety and well-being of clients and their families.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Educate clients on effective communication techniques, conflict resolution methods, and coping strategies to enhance their relational and emotional health.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of mental health practitioners, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive and integrated client care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying updated on the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n
