Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring OH or compact RN license and prior telemetry experience. Requirements Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Previous telemetry experience required Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips required Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills required Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 2 professional references required, including at least 1 from a Manager/Director or formal leadership role, with Charge RN acceptable for the second reference (no coworker references accepted) Responsibilities Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown) of a hospital setting MS/Tele patient population requiring cardiac monitoring and telemetry care Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Required to work every other weekend (Friday & Saturday nights) 13-week contract length Epic charting system preferred Provide cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and emergency response for telemetry patients Perform peripheral IV therapy, phlebotomy, and line care/management Administer oxygen therapy including nasal cannula and respiratory support Utilize Rapid Response/Code teams as needed Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols Complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly after signing contract, as delays may impact start date Locals accepted at the same pay rate RTO must be submitted with the application and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less Former employees eligible for travel assignment after being away from the facility for 6 months or more Current employees of Ohio State University hospital locations are ineligible for travel positions Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-733022 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
