A large, multi-location organization headquartered in Fort Worth is seeking a Director of Human Resources to help lead HR strategy and operations across a geographically dispersed workforce and regional business units.

This role will partner closely with senior and operational leadership to align people strategy with business objectives, strengthen leadership capability, ensure consistency across locations, and build scalable HR practices that support continued growth. The Director will provide leadership across employee relations, performance management, talent and succession planning, benefits, leave administration, workers' compensation, HR systems, compliance, workforce planning, and HR analytics.

This is an opportunity for an experienced multi-site HR leader who has operated across a decentralized organization and is comfortable balancing strategic leadership with direct involvement in the issues that matter most to employees, managers, and the business.

Job Details

• Lead HR strategy and operations across a multi-site, multi-state organization, ensuring consistency while supporting the needs of individual locations
• Partner with executive and business leaders on workforce planning, organizational priorities, talent needs, and people strategy
• Lead, coach, and develop HR team members and business partners while establishing clear priorities, service standards, and accountability
• Provide senior-level guidance on complex employee relations matters, investigations, performance concerns, corrective action, complaints, and separations
• Drive performance management, succession planning, leadership development, employee engagement, and retention initiatives
• Oversee benefits, leave programs, workers' compensation, retirement plan administration, and related compliance requirements
• Provide strategic oversight of HR systems, including ADP Workforce Now, reporting, data integrity, governance, upgrades, testing, and process optimization
• Support HR integration for acquisitions, new locations, and organizational growth
• Develop HR metrics, dashboards, and workforce reporting to identify trends and support business decisions
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements across the organization's operating footprint
• Lead change-management initiatives, employee communications, vendor relationships, and cross-functional HR projects

Desired Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with significant HR leadership responsibility
• Demonstrated experience leading HR across a multi-site, multi-unit, or geographically dispersed organization
• ADP Workforce Now experience required, including reporting, optimization, data governance, upgrades, testing, or implementation support
• Broad HR leadership experience across employee relations, investigations, performance management, talent management, benefits, leave administration, workers' compensation, compliance, HRIS, and workforce planning
• Experience leading HR teams and partnering with operational leaders across multiple business units, locations, or regions
• Strong knowledge of multi-state employment law, HR compliance, and risk management
• Experience in retail, hospitality, automotive, restaurants, consumer services, or another high-volume, customer-facing environment strongly preferred
• Experience supporting sales, field-based, or decentralized employee populations highly valued
• Experience supporting acquisitions, new-location openings, or organizational growth strongly preferred
• Strong HR analytics, reporting, and Excel capabilities
• Bachelor's degree preferred; SHRM-SCP, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or PHR preferred
