Customer Solutions Center RepresentativeCustomer Solutions Center Representatives are responsible for engaging with customers through inbound phone calls. Customer Solutions Center Representatives are to represent Peoples Bank well by presenting a positive, professional image while meeting or exceeding customers' expectations. This position will begin in Munster, IN and will transition to Orland Park, IL in mid-2027.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnswer customer inquiries relating to bank products and services through inbound telephone callsRecognize growth or service opportunities for customers and refer them to the appropriate departmentRemain current on products, services, policies and proceduresResolve customer inquiries or issues with respect to any loan product offered by Peoples BankResolve customer issues through account research and utilization of support materials and resourcesPerform customer account transaction and maintenance activities accuratelyStrive for first contact resolution of customer inquiries, transactions and problem resolutionEscalate customer requests requiring additional knowledge or expertise as defined by department leadershipOther duties as assignedEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Proficient in technical computer skills.Demonstrated ability in providing excellent customer service.Associate's degree preferred2+ years customer service experience preferred2+ years Call Center experience preferredSkills and QualificationsResolve issues with straight forward to moderate degrees of complexity through account research. and utilization of support materials and resources.Must be self-motivated and follow established guidelines.Works under moderate supervision in day-to-day activities and escalates issues as needed.Clear and effective communication in person and over the phone.About UsFor over a century, Peoples Bank has served as a cornerstone of customer commitment, helping our communities thrive and continuously supporting our community members.
