Dental Hygiene Clinical Instructor - Adjunct Position Summary The responsibilities of the successful candidate for the Dental Hygiene Faculty include clinical teaching. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Laboratory and clinical teaching Grading and evaluation Participate in and support clinic or pre-clinic assignments Student mentoring and advising Accept and participate in other duties as assigned Regular and reliable attendance Skills / Competencies / Qualifications Education Must be a dental hygienist with a minimum of an associate degree; a baccalaureate degree preferred Professional experience necessary to understand and fulfill the program goals Documented background in the assigned subject Professional Must have a current Maryland-issued Dental Hygiene or Dental License, or the ability to obtain one Must have current CPR certification/health care provider Excellent oral and written communication 3 years of full-time clinical experience Teaching experience preferred Documentation of background in educational methodology Classification Exempt Work Hours Part-time and may include evening/weekend hours Travel None Working Environment Interior/Office - clinical setting EEO Statement This Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or on any other basis prohibited by law.
