Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Middlebury, Vermont. Start date 10/01/2026 for 7 weeks. Weekly pay range $3,137–$3,279 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3x12). Work setting: hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct obstetric nursing care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn services, including monitoring fetal status and maternal vitals, and administering medications per protocol.
- Collaborate with the obstetric care team; assist with deliveries, cesarean procedures, and neonatal stabilization; support patient and family education.
- Manage ongoing documentation for assessments, care plans, and discharge planning in the Epic EMR with accurate, timely charting.
- Float to medical-surgical and ED units as needed; maintain competency in cross-unit patient care and infection control practices.
- Maintain certifications and unit requirements (AHA BLS and NRP); participate in unit orientations and ongoing education as scheduled.

Requirements
- Vermont RN license active at time of submission.
- AHA BLS and NRP certifications.
- Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience (Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care) and demonstrated experience in birthing department tasks.
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years.
- Willingness to float to Medical-Surgical and ED units as required.
- Availability to work every other weekend and a minimum of 2 out of 4 holidays per unit needs.
- Prior travel experience preferred.
