Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Microbiology Technician / Associate Scientist to work on‑site with our client, a top‑tier consumer packaged goods company. Responsibilities The Microbiology Technician Cleaning R&D applies technical microbiological knowledge (primarily in surface sanitization and disinfection) to new and existing test methods, supporting projects across the business. Execute a variety of simple to complex microbiological laboratory experiments in collaboration with other technicians and scientists to support the Clorox business. Collaborate with scientists to collect, evaluate, and present data to inform teams and enable project decisions. Pursue constant improvement and innovation of techniques to drive efficiency and enhanced capabilities within the microbiology laboratory. Manage the microbiology laboratory in collaboration with other technicians through laboratory upkeep, maintenance, and ordering all equipment and supplies. Contribute to operating principles and best practices of the group, working safely and with the highest integrity. Contribute to knowledge management practices with standardization and consistency. Effectively network internally and externally. Excellent communication skills with ability to present critical information. Collaborate cross‑functionally with individuals in a wide variety of disciplines and backgrounds to build effective relationships. Qualifications B.S. in Microbiology (bacteriology, virology, mycology, etc.) or related field (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, etc.). 1–2+ years of experience conducting research in a microbiology or molecular biology laboratory, operating independently under senior guidance.
