Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the daily maintenance and upkeep of multifamily residential properties. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, appliances, and general building repairs , along with a strong commitment to resident satisfaction and property safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and diagnose/repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, and other building issues.
• Complete make-ready/unit turnover work, including painting, drywall, appliance repairs, cleaning, and general repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, boilers, fire protection systems, and other property equipment.
• Maintain common areas, amenities, grounds, exterior lighting, and overall property appearance.
• Maintain accurate inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance parts.
• Follow OSHA, safety, and company policies and procedures.
• Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls , including floods, lockouts, heating/cooling issues, and other urgent repairs.
• Provide professional and responsive customer service to residents and property management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of Maintenance Technician or General Maintenance experience preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, painting, drywall, appliances, and general repairs.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues independently and prioritize work effectively.
• Strong communication, customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Must be comfortable working on ladders, standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and working in varying temperatures.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in an emergency/on-call rotation.
