Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D), travel assignment in Ukiah, CA, starting August 3, 2026 for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group in Labor & Delivery according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with obstetric, neonatal, anesthesiology, and ancillary teams.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, and develop care plans to achieve outcomes; implement plans and promote patient safety.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team; participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and families.
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate tasks among the healthcare team; monitor and evaluate progress toward outcome goals.
- Provide support for postpartum and neonatal care as part of the unit’s care delivery, including level II NICU considerations when applicable.

Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California) — required
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience: Minimum of two years of recent experience in the field
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
- Specialization: Level II NICU experience required for the day shift; labor and postpartum experience preferred
- Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
