Job Description

Wipro Technologies-USA is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager / Senior Account Executive (Client Partner) to lead our Media portfolio based in the Los Angeles metro area. This role is a strategic leadership position focused on driving sales excellence and fostering long-term, profitable growth within key media accounts, including major studios, streaming platforms, and entertainment networks. As a vital member of our team, the General Manager will be instrumental in orchestrating client engagements and championing digital transformation initiatives within this rapidly evolving sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive management of Tier 1 global accounts, steering strategy, execution, and client relationships to achieve aggressive revenue targets and sustained business expansion. They will leverage deep domain expertise and market insights to identify new business opportunities, shape transformational offerings, and address client challenges with innovative solutions.

This role requires a seasoned leader skilled in managing complex, high-value negotiations and capable of influencing C-level executives across multiple lines of business to foster collaborative, trust-based partnerships. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and alignment with client priorities, ensuring mutual success and enhanced organizational reputation. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ownership and end-to-end management of global media accounts, ensuring robust client relationships at all organizational levels.
• Overall leadership of the account profit and loss (P&L) to safeguard and enhance financial performance.
• Guiding and mentoring a skilled sales team to surpass ambitious revenue goals and cultivate new business pipelines.
• Strategically defining, negotiating, and securing large-scale deals (valued at $100M or more), with a focus on high-impact transformations and service innovations.
• Developing and implementing forward-looking account plans, including growth strategies, change management initiatives, and risk mitigation approaches.
• Serving as a trusted advisor to their client's executive leadership, fostering enduring, value-driven business relationships.
• Monitoring progress toward goals and communicating account performance insights with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborating extensively with internal delivery teams, partners, and external vendors to optimize account delivery and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Overseeing operational complexities within client engagements to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
• Leading and coordinating multiple client partners across diverse business units within the global account.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $240,000.00 to $330,000

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
