Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio certificate/license for Education of the Handicapped K-12 or Intervention Specialist K-12 (Moderate/Intensive or Mild/Moderate).
• Experience supporting students with multiple disabilities.
• Proficient in delivering instruction within a resource room, small group tutoring, and inclusion settings.
• Skilled at collaborating with staff members and engaging families and diverse populations.
• Able to access and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) efficiently.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to kindergarten students in accordance with their IEPs.
• Implement differentiated teaching strategies to foster academic and social growth in small group, resource room, and inclusive classroom settings.
• Work closely with fellow educators, specialists, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for each student.
• Engage in frequent communication with families, ensuring a collaborative approach to student development.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and adapt instructional plans as appropriate.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
