Assistant Property Manager – Charleston, SC 29406

Pay: $20/hr | Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM

Start Date: ASAP | Contract‑to‑Hire Opportunity

BG Staffing is seeking a professional, organized, and customer‑focused Assistant Property Manager to support an apartment community in Charleston, SC (29406) . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys working with residents, and is ready to take on a key operational role within the property management team.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily property operations and resident relations
Support leasing efforts, renewals, and application processing
Handle rent collection, notices, and basic accounting tasks
Respond to resident inquiries and resolve concerns professionally
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
Collaborate with the Property Manager to meet occupancy and financial goals
Help coordinate maintenance requests and follow‑up

Requirements

Experience with OneSite and RealPage required
Previous property management or leasing experience preferred
Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy office
Professional, reliable, and detail‑oriented
