As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial buildings, common areas, parking facilities, walkways, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and unusual conditions according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
