Our ALOHA™ and Voltaix® products are critical to the manufacturer of the newest computer chips required for Big Data and the Internet of Things.How Will You Contribute and Grow?The primary focus of the Engineering department is to lead continuous improvement activities related to commercial chemical manufacturing processes. Engineering personnel lead continuous improvement teams for major product lines and manufacturing areas, providing technical insights, leadership, and disciplined project management for implementation of improvement projects.Are You a Match?Required Qualifications:BS or MS in Chemical EngineeringAt least 10 years of experience performing hands-on optimization of specialty chemicals/gases production unitsDemonstrated project planning and management expertiseProven track record of delivering on commitmentsProven ability to lead change, personally adaptable, and able to perform well under pressure and constantly changing prioritiesSolution/outcome oriented in an environment with minimal supervisionStrong understanding of chemical engineering fundamentalsProblem solving and decision making skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of PLC and DCS control systemsProcess hazard analysis leadership; LOPA and HAZOPCost/benefit analysis, including DCF analysisDevelopment and use of metrics for performance managementPreferred Qualifications:Six-Sigma green or black belt certification or the equivalent knowledge and experienceSignificant experience working with highly hazardous chemicals at a manufacturing facilityExpertise in various unit operations, and associated equipment (i.e. distillation, filtration, reaction)Demonstrated presentation skillsWorking knowledge of fire, building, and electrical codesWorking knowledge of ASME code and CGA standardsOur Differences make our PerformanceAt Air Liquide, we are committed to build a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders and cultures across the world.We welcome and consider applications from all qualified applicants, regardless of their background.
