This position is perfect for licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) passionate about working with high school or junior high populations under the guidance of experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs).

In this role, you’ll be part of a collaborative special education team providing essential support from August 11th through June 3rd. Enjoy a steady Monday through Friday schedule, 30 hours per week, making a meaningful impact every day while helping students achieve their academic and communication goals.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Current SLPA credential and license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
• Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
• Familiarity with students at the high school or junior high level
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Comfortable following treatment plans under SLP and contributing to progress reports

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized treatment activities as designed by supervising SLPs
• Support speech, language, and social communication development for students
• Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize student achievement
• Document progress and maintain accurate records according to school/district policies
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
