CMM Programmer

Xactra Technologies is looking to add a 1st Shift CMM Programmer/Quality Engineer to our growing company! We are looking for someone with an Aerospace and Defense background to join our talented team!The CMM Programmer/Quality Engineer will work collaboratively with the Quality Assurance and Engineering personnel to support quality engineering requirements for customers, suppliers, and internal QMS systems. Responsible for providing statistical information for quality improvement by identifying testing methods and samples and ensuring customer requirements are satisfiedJob RequirementsComputer SkillsGD&T CodesCADQMS (AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485) System standards and internal audit experienceKnowledge of various vision systems (Smart-Scope, Oasis, Keyence) and Zeiss Calypso & PC-DMIS CMM ProgrammingWorks closely with the manufacturing team to ensure quality protocols are followed documentation is correctly maintained and implement any new changes or adaptations based on quality review.Identifies and records any problem relating to the product, process, and QMS.Provide inspection support that includes: first article, in-process, and end item quality.Compile statistical data and write narrative reports summarizing quality assurance findings.Skills & ExperienceAssociate degree, technical/trade school training or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years related experience.Knowledge of computer operations and applications is required.Must be able to read and comprehend engineering drawings, sketches, and verbal and written communications to accomplish the job at hand.Must be able to work independently or with a team providing solutions to a range of complex problems.You should be proficient in:GD&TPrecision Measurement & Hand MetrologyAdvanced Inspection & Gauge MeasurementMachines & technologies you'll use:Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) (Zeiss) #J-18808-Ljbffr
