Laboratory Assistant

Job Title: Laboratory Assistant Location: Johnston, IA Duration: 12 months Schedule: Monday-Friday 9 am - 5 pm Responsibilities:
- With guidance from supervision, assists technical personnel in general laboratory operations and routine laboratory or information handling tasks in support of scientific research.
- Perform tasks according to accepted methods and training prescribed by the work group.
- Tissue culture experience favored.
- Must be task orientated and self motivated.
- Lab safety requires long pants, closed toed/heeled shoes, all other equipment will be provided.
