Senior Accountant (Contract) | SAP S/4HANA | Hybrid We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a contract opportunity supporting a high-volume corporate accounting team during a critical transition period. This role will focus heavily on month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, AR accounting , and ongoing SAP S/4HANA stabilization efforts . Responsibilities Prepare and post complex journal entries and support monthly close activities. Manage Accounts Receivable accounting, funding allocations, reimbursements, and related reconciliations. Perform balance sheet reconciliations, P&L analysis, and account variance investigations. Support SAP S/4HANA stabilization efforts through testing, validation, and reconciliation of system feeds and subledger-to-ledger activity. Analyze financial data using reporting tools and provide insights to leadership. Identify process improvement opportunities and support ongoing accounting initiatives. Partner with internal stakeholders across finance and accounting functions. Required Qualifications Strong experience with journal entries and month-end close. Hands-on Accounts Receivable accounting and reconciliation experience. SAP S/4HANA experience, ideally in a post-implementation or stabilization environment. Strong balance sheet reconciliation and P&L analysis skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to research variances and identify root causes. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume accounting environment. Experience using financial reporting and data analysis tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, food & beverage, or large corporate environments. Background in bad debt analysis, reserve accounting, and AR analytics. Experience supporting ERP implementations or system stabilization projects. Exposure to Business Objects (BOBJ), HFM, SIPS, or similar reporting tools. Prior consulting, interim, or project-based accounting experience. Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ports North
