Overview
Our client is seeking a creative and agile Social Media & Content Specialist to support their team during a coverage. This individual will play a key role in developing engaging content, managing social media channels, and delivering data-driven insights to support audience growth and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and publish compelling content across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Develop creative, engaging social content, including reels and short-form video
- Monitor and respond to rapid, last-minute content requests to boost awareness and engagement
- Produce new content aligned with brand voice and audience needs
- Conduct monthly social media reporting , including analytics, insights, and performance optimization recommendations
- Capture content at events , including conducting interviews and gathering audio/video (microphone use required)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support campaigns and initiatives
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing
- Strong writing skills with a creative, engaging approach to language and storytelling
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Experience analyzing social media performance metrics and applying insights
- Proficiency with tools such as Canva, Sprout Social, and project management platforms (preferred Monday.com)
- Comfortable learning new systems and tools quickly
- Ability to understand and adapt to a brand voice across diverse audiences
The hourly range for this position is W2 $35-40/hr DOE. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
