Staff Accounting

Responsibilities Posting journal entries to the general ledger Maintain the general ledger Chart of Accounts Reconcile general ledger accounts Process journal entry uploads to the accounting system Ensures all invoices are processed and accounted for prior to monthly closing Process monthly, quarterly and year-end closing Prepares and review financial statements Prepares the annual budget Process Bank reconciliations Process payroll in the ADP system Enter new hires, terminations and personnel changes in the ADP system Process garnishments and reply to correspondences received Calculate monthly field operation bonuses Provides support for year-end external audits Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned by management Qualifications 4 years of accounting experience Must be detail-oriented, accurate, organized and able to meet deadline Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Balance Sheet and P&L preparation experience Accounting degree required Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software a plus Experience with the ADP payroll system a plus Advanced level working knowledge of MS Office (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.) Strong oral and written communication skills 10 key by touch #J-18808-Ljbffr
