Sr. Business Analyst

Title: Sr. Business Systems Analyst ( PUBLIC SAFETY and JUSTICE Domain )

Location: HYBRID: 3 DAYS REMOTE, 2 DAYS ONSITE

ONSITE Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 9-10 MOS contract

OBJECTIVE: This Resource will provide services for one of the County's Public Safety and Justice modernization projects of the new Integrated Justice System

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

• 5+ years as SR. BSA working on a LARGE SCALE project
• 10+ years' experience in the PUBLIC SAFETY and JUSTICE Domain

• Must have skills:

1. Business Analysis including Waterfall and Agile
2. Business Analyst skills author, document, and diagrams
3. Project management
4. Experience - Data migration, system integration of interface and data exchanges, security
5. Technical understanding - Operating sytems, applications, database, network, security systems
6. Must have data analysis experience, understanding of indices, fundamentals, and analytical data, must have proficiency with MSSQL, extracting data, building queries, data validation, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerBI.

• Additional Qualifications:
  • Four (4) year college degree in Information Technology or (10+) years of relevant work experience in the area of business analysis with the Public, Safety, and Justice domain.
  • Business Analysis certification such as CBAP, CBDA, CPRE, BPA, AAC.
