\n 1st shift: 7am to 3pm Monday-Friday\n

\n

\n Pay:  $19+/hourly (experience based) \n

\n

\n

\n Production Assistant Job Duties\n

\n

\n
• Enter information into a computer to prepare correspondence, statements, receipts, shipping documents, and other records.
\n
• Process customer and company orders received by mail, email, fax, EDI, telephone, or personal contact.
\n
• File and maintain customer purchase orders and revisions.
\n
• Print and assemble job packets as required by Production.
\n
• Sort and file records and maintain organized documentation.
\n
• Photocopy and prepare documents as needed.
\n
• Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements and provide instructions for loading products.
\n
• Prepare or assist with preparing items for shipment by appropriately packaging products.
\n
• Maintain accurate records of items shipped.
\n
• Provide administrative support to the Production team.
\n
• Perform other duties as assigned.
\n

\n Qualifications & Requirements\n

\n

\n
• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
\n
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
\n
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
\n
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present information to customers, clients, and employees in one-on-one and small-group settings.
\n
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
\n

\n Physical Requirements & Work Environment\n

\n

\n
• Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit.
\n
• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and talk or hear.
\n
• May occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
\n
• Requires close vision, the ability to adjust focus, and color vision.
\n
• Work environment has a moderate noise level.
\n
