RNs must be prepared to float frequently to meet the staffing needs of the hospital MICU - 20 bed critical care unit that provides care to the critically ill patient. The staff of MICU provides expert care for a variety of medical illnesses including but not limited to; respiratory failure, acute and chronic kidney failure, liver failure, overdoses, and septic shock.Ratios are 1:2-3 days/1:2-3 nightsWill float within scope to meet facility needs (this includes potentially floating to Bellevue campus). Units may include, but are not limited to 4CS, 5 West, 6 Neuro, 4/5 Lied, 6/7 Lied, 7 HVU, 8 Werner, 9 Trauma, Bellevue MS, Observation, SOTU.BLS requiredACLS preferred2 years of prior experience required (must have 2 years exp in large, urban hospital)Drips are required on all floorsEPIC charting experience requiredFirst timers NOT accepted (will consider if the traveler has 2 years of experience at a Level l Academic Medical Center)In addition to CNAs, care teams include care techs, transport team, swoop/paramedics.
