Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine client needs and create individualized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, adapting methodologies according to client preferences and needs.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to provide community and foster understanding of common mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and integrate various therapeutic approaches.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, offering immediate support and resources.

• Educate clients on mental health conditions and treatment options, equipping them with knowledge about available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards using an electronic health record (EHR) system.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• A valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Virginia.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and proficiency in various therapeutic modalities.

• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, reflecting strong empathy and professionalism.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
