Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Pharmacist position specializing in Long Term Care (LTC) and Mail Order pharmacy services. The role offers a contract-to-hire arrangement with the intent for direct hire after a 13-week period. Ideal candidates will have pharmacy experience in LTC settings or retail and hold an active Ohio pharmacy license.
Location: West Chester, OH
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Shift hours either 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:45 PM
- Rotating every 3rd weekend
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications for long-term care and mail order patients
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy
- Provide clinical consultation and medication management support
- Maintain proper documentation and inventory controls
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Ohio pharmacy license required
- Experience in Long Term Care pharmacy is a strong plus
- Retail pharmacist experience will also be considered
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekend rotations every third week
