We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team on a travel basis. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in diverse surgical settings and enhance your professional experience. The ideal candidate will be flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining high standards of aseptic technique and patient care. Shift: Days, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Start Date: ASAP

Hourly Pay Rate: $36.85/hr

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:

• BLS required from AHA
• Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN License required

Weekend Requirement: No

On Call Requirement: Yes

Floating Requirement: Yes (Locations may vary)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing operating rooms, including setting up tables, instruments, and supplies.
• Maintain the sterile field and assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and sutures.
• Establish and monitor aseptic techniques to ensure safety.
• Transport patients to and from the operating room.
• Prepare and care for biological specimens.
• Adapt to various specialty areas such as Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Robotics, etc.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical team members.
• Follow facility policies on sterilization, infection control, and safety.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Surgical Technology program or accredited LVN/LPN program.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Current BLS from AHA.
• Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN License.
