Warehouse Clerk — Now Hiring!
Pay Rate: $19/hr
Shift: Monday–Friday | 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm
Location: Largo, FL 33773
Position Overview:
Warehouse Clerks perform essential functions to support daily operations, including order selecting and stocking product.
Essential Job Functions:
• Accurately select products to fulfill customer orders using a cherry picker or other Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT).
• Properly arrange selected products on pallets for easy inspection and order accuracy.
• Understand and manage required paperwork (customer orders, vendor stock sheets) for accurate inventory tracking.
• Work closely with Warehouse Managers, Material Handlers, Dock Unloaders, and Forklift Operators for smooth product flow.
• Ensure proper movement of product within the warehouse while following operational procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness for a safe and organized environment.
• Adhere to all safety standards and protocols.
Requirements:
• Ability to pass the Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Training Certification Course.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks as required.
• Follow all procedures and policies.
• Recent experience operating cherry pickers, forklifts, and pallet jacks is highly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Other Skills/Abilities:
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment focused on efficiency and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for teamwork and collaboration.
• Ability to work overtime as needed to meet operational demands.
• Solid understanding of warehouse safety standards and protocols.
• Able to work in varying warehouse conditions, including high heat and cold temperatures.
Physical Demands:
• Seated or standing for extended periods.
• Pulling, pushing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Working in high heat and cold temperatures.
