Minneapolis, United States | Posted on 06/29/2026 Responsibilities Full responsibility for the accounting and finance function, including the monthly close, financial reporting, and the integrity of the books Leadership and management of an established, highly capable accounting team, including their continued development Cash and accrual reporting, GAAP financial statements, and management reporting that leadership can run the business on Cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Property-level and corporate accounting across a large multifamily portfolio Banking, treasury, audit, and tax coordination with outside advisors Internal controls, process improvement, and systems Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required CPA strongly preferred, but not required Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Accounting) a plus, but not required Qualifications and Requirements 7+ years of progressive accounting leadership, including time in a Controller or senior accounting role Proven experience leading, managing, and developing an accounting team Multifamily, property management, or real estate accounting experience strongly preferred Deep command of GAAP, the monthly close, and financial statement preparation Hands‑on experience with both cash and accrual reporting Experience with property management accounting systems; Rent Manager is a plus Track record of building and scaling finance functions in a high‑growth environment a plus Embraces and actively explores the use of AI and technology to drive efficiency and quality across the finance function Comfortable reporting directly to ownership and operating with full accountability In‑person position at our Fridley office.
