Information Technology Help Desk Technician

Job Title: IT Help Desk Technician (MSP) Pay: $45,000 – $65,000, based on experience

Summary: Join a growing managed services provider supporting small and mid-sized businesses across metro Atlanta. As an IT Help Desk Technician, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients. You’ll troubleshoot issues by phone and remote access across servers, PCs, networks, and phone systems, and help monitor and maintain client environments day to day. This role suits someone who enjoys solving problems and explaining technology in plain language. Requirements: Hands-on experience with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 desktop apps, including email client setup (POP3, SMTP, IMAP, and Exchange) Basic Active Directory administration on Windows Server 2022: adding and disabling users, and resetting passwords Basic Microsoft 365 administration, including users and distribution lists Working knowledge of IP networking, including manually configuring computers to communicate over Ethernet Experience with desktop and laptop setup, hardware upgrades, and replacements Typing speed of 45+ WPM Strong time management and organizational skills, including accurate time tracking Preferred: Experience with NinjaOne or another RMM platform CompTIA A+ or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) certification Responsibilities: Support clients by phone and remote access across servers, workstations, LAN/WAN, and PBX systems Monitor, maintain, and report on client systems using remote monitoring tools Resolve warnings and alerts in the remote monitoring system Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Set up, upgrade, and replace desktop and laptop hardware Track and log time accurately for all client work What makes you a great fit: You listen patiently and turn a client’s description of a problem into clear next steps You explain technical issues in terms non-technical users understand and feel comfortable with You bring a strong customer service attitude every day You think creatively when troubleshooting #J-18808-Ljbffr Prestige Staffing
