The patient care ratios typically range from 1:4 to 1:5, ensuring a focused approach to each patient’s needs. Shift Information Day Shift: 7-8 RNs, 2-3 EMTs/Medic Mid Shift: 8-10 RNs Night Shift: 7-8 RNs, 2-3 EMTs/Medic Equipment and Technology EKG Cardiac Monitors Blood Glucose Monitors Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System Meditech Qualifications Must have: Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital emergency department experience BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications Preferred: Experience in Level 1 Trauma centers Stroke care experience Role Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive emergency care to patients within the department, ensuring that all clinical and procedural needs are met promptly and effectively.
