The unit features: Number of Beds: 345 Staffing: Approximately 80 in the float pool with RN and CNA coverage on both day and night shifts. Patient Ratios: Estimated 1:5 during both day and night shifts, varying between units. Types of Equipment: Various orthopedic and spine care tools. EMR System: Meditech Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Required: Minimum of 1 year of current acute care experience in Med/Surg or Orthopedic settings. Current BLS certification. Preferred: ACLS certification. Chemo Certification (candidates with this certification may have opportunities in Oncology). Typical Procedures Common procedures performed in this unit include: Joint replacements and fracture repairs. Care for spinal injuries.
