Job Details: Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum 1-year current acute care Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification. Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech electronic medical record system experience and chemo certification for oncology unit scheduling. Float: Float rotation may be required. Additional Information: The unit has a total of 345 beds and holds a 3-time Magnet designation. Staff include predominantly RN and CNA team members working day and night shifts, with patient ratios typically around 1:5. The unit cares for a large cardiac patient population across Telemetry and Progressive Care units, with some staff floating to inpatient medical, telemetry, and rehabilitation units.
