(USA) Member Team Lead

What you’ll do Assists management with the supervision of associates in their assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, and training associates on processes and procedures. Provides direction and guidance to associates on member service approaches, ensuring member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines and in compliance with policies. Supports open communication policies by participating in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, coaching, and evaluating associates. Communicates and supports membership, providing information on membership types, programs, and benefits to current and prospective members; processes memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts while encouraging membership renewals. Participates in sales and marketing events, completes marketing recaps and other required documentation, and strives to meet membership goals. Promotes the value of Sam’s Club products and services and provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and guiding use of self‑service technology. Manages the assigned area of responsibility by handling claims, returns, zoning, merchandise organization, and inventory shrinkage. Oversees parking lot cleanliness, completes accounting records and financial analysis reports, and ensures accurate and confidential handling of financial information and daily deposits. Develops and implements processes and practices in collaboration with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners to improve business outcomes. Demonstrates compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics, using an open‑door policy to address issues. Leads and participates in teams, sharing resources and information, coordinating work assignments, and providing feedback to ensure timeline and quality standards are met. Hourly Wage and Compensation Hourly wage range for this position is $22.00 to $30.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may be paid in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour under specific circumstances such as schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
