Our office is partnered with a leading company in Allentown, PA, in their search for a Slitter Operator. If you’re looking for a stable role with a supportive team and room to grow, this is a great opportunity.

Slitter Operator Details:

• Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6:15am
• Pay: Starting Rate $20-22 ($2 shift differential once converted to perm)
• Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
• Location: Allentown, PA

Slitter Operator Responsibilities:

• Set up, calibrate, and operate slitting machines according to work orders and production schedules
• Install and adjust blades, spacers, and materials to ensure accurate and efficient machine operation
• Monitor production and perform in-process quality checks using calipers and micrometers to verify width, tension, and edge quality
• Identify and troubleshoot machine issues, clear jams, and correct defects to minimize downtime
• Safely load, unload, and transport large material rolls using forklifts or hoists
• Accurately record production data, update inventory systems, and complete shift documentation
• Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and perform routine preventative maintenance to maintain a safe and efficient work environment

Slitter Operator Requirements:

• Prior manufacturing experience in slitting, laminating, printing, or similar environment preferred
• Strong ability to operate, adjust, and troubleshoot industrial machinery
• Proficiency in basic math and use of measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive tasks
