Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school environment near New Braunfels, TX. Work closely with a small, focused caseload and make a meaningful impact on student progress and success.
In this role, you'll prepare and attend ARD meetings, conduct assessments, and collaborate with educators and families to foster a positive learning environment. The schedule offers 37.5 hours per week across five days, starting from August 10, 2026, through November 2, 2026. Enjoy a pay range of $50-$55 per hour, ensuring your expertise is valued while you provide essential services to students. There is also the potential for this assignment to expand into a full-time position, offering additional flexibility and growth.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
- Experience with pediatric and school-aged populations preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to prep and actively contribute during ARDs
- Commitment to providing individualized support and thorough documentation
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Prepare and participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
- Conduct standardized testing and re-evaluations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Maintain clear records and progress notes
