Legal Intake Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Legal Assistant / Intake Specialist to support a California-based employment law attorney. The ideal candidate has strong client communication skills, experience handling employment law intakes, and familiarity with California labor and employment laws. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial client intakes in English and Spanish. Screen and evaluate potential employment law cases, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour claims. Gather relevant facts, documents, and employment history from prospective clients. Manage intake records, follow-ups, and client communications. Schedule consultations and coordinate with the attorney. Assist with administrative and legal support tasks as needed. Requirements Minimum 1.5–2 years of experience in legal intake or legal assistance, specifically in California employment law . Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken). Familiarity with California employment claims and intake screening procedures. Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail. Experience using legal CRM or case management software preferred. Ability to work independently and handle sensitive client information confidentially.
