Project Accountant

Work Environment: Full Time/ In Office Key Responsibilities Oversee project financial data including job costing, progress billings, and project activity review Prepare and issue accurate progress billings, while also compiling supporting documentation Reconcile billings including labor and non-labor inputs Partner with Project Managers to resolve billing issues and delays Ensure accurate job costs and adjustments Track job costs vs budget and analyze variances Review contracts, change orders, and maintain compliance Prepare and maintain WIP schedules and reporting around project data Monitor cash flow and ensure funding for obligations Support audit requests with documentation Provide financial guidance to project teams Drive process improvements and efficiencies Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of accounting experience (construction preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Attention to detail and organization Advanced Excel skills Effective communication and teamwork What You Can Expect from Cleveland Electric Company: Eligible for Performance Bonus Aetna PPO and HSA plans - eligible for coverage upon start date Dental PPO and HMO plans - eligible for coverage upon start date Free Vision plan 401(k) with Employer Match Short and Long-Term Disability 15 days of PTO (Accrued) and 8 paid holidays.
