This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and wants to make an impact across the entire employee lifecycle, from recruiting and onboarding to benefits administration and employee support.Job SummaryThe Human Resources & Talent Operations Specialist supports key HR functions, including full-cycle recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, FMLA and leave management, workers' compensation coordination, and employee record management. This position serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers while helping ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.Benefits & CompensationWe offer a competitive benefits package, which includes:Pay Range: $23-30/hourlyPotential for some Hybrid workHealth, Dental and Vision insurance with employer contributionsShort-and Long-Term Disability coverage12 paid HolidaysPaid Time Off & Sick TimeLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)403(b) retirement plan with employer contributionQualificationsAssociate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered1-3 years of human resources experience, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, or employee supportKnowledge of FMLA, workers' compensation, ADA, and related employment lawsStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentialityExperience with Microsoft Office and HR systems, including HRIS, ATS, or benefits administration platformResponsibilities and ScopeManage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidatesPartner with hiring managers to develop hiring strategies and support workforce needsCoordinate new hire onboarding, orientations, and employee documentationSupport employee offboarding activities, including exit documentation and process coordinationAssist with employee benefit enrollments, changes, and general benefits inquiriesAdminister and track FMLA and other leave requests and required documentationCoordinate workers' compensation claims and communication with insurance carriersMaintain accurate and confidential employee records throughout the employee lifecycleServe as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies and proceduresSupport HR compliance initiatives and employment-related documentationMorrison Center is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to provide comprehensive, individualized support services to children and adults with developmental disabilities.Morrison Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
