Apex has an opportunity for an Architect that can sit Remote. Here are the details:

Position: Architect

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 Month Contract to Hire

Position Description:

The resource will support Individual Family Plans/ Exchanges and Regulatory programs such as CAA. Some responsibilities include drive solutions working with cross product/ application teams. Blue print eco system

• Collaborate with product management, portfolio and technology architecture leads to plan out, document and execute strategic product family delivery roadmaps – including blueprints and reference architectures.
• Use a consultative, agile approach to solving problems that support business, technology and financial strategies with defined architecture principles.
• Collaborate with our business partners and product managers to understand / influence business requirements, capability and feature definition.
• Demonstrate understanding of cross - functional / cross - domain requirements, non-functional requirements and impacts.
• Stay abreast of current and emerging technologies / products / trends related to architectural solutions. Utilize those findings to influence our technology strategy and solution design.
• Facilitate / lead / participate in identification of solution options and features and prepare related estimates for business cases.
• Create architecture deliverables that describe the solution that other teams can follow.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards (e.g. solution patterns, application frameworks, technology roadmaps, capital plans).
• Identify gaps between established standards and proposed solutions and follow the exception / waiver process as needed as part of the architecture governance model.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of overall IT experience
• 4+ years of solution and/or enterprise architecture experience by applying architecture principles to create architecture artifacts such as blueprints and reference architectures
• 2+ years of experience with designing and implementing cloud architectures (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• 2+ years in Agile Delivery methods
• Architecture experience driving solutions on consumer facing products and programs
• Healthcare industry experience
