Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s needs. Your targeted approach will facilitate their journey toward better mental health.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients cultivate resilience and find renewed hope in their circumstances.

• Maintain rigorous and confidential clinical records while adhering to HIPAA guidelines and other regulatory standards to uphold our ethical commitment.

• Engage regularly with a multidisciplinary treatment team to discuss client progress, foster communication, and integrate diverse perspectives into treatment planning to provide holistic care.

• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current with best practices in mental health care, enhancing the quality of service provided.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to empower them in navigating their unique challenges.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health to ensure the application of the most effective, evidence-based treatment methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be serving a diverse population, providing support to individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise in empathetic counseling will play a pivotal role in helping clients achieve mental wellness and navigate their journeys with informed resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), LCSW-R, or equivalent in New York State.

• Proficiency in solution-focused therapy techniques, enabling tailored treatments based on clients' unique situations and needs.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering strong therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills that help navigate complex client situations effectively.

Preferred Experience\n
