Quality Control Inspector

Adecco is hiring for QC Inspectors for a manufacturer in Peabody! These are temp to perm opportunities.

1. st shift schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-330pm
2. nd shift schedule: Monday-Thursday 230pm-1am

Pay rate: 1st shift - $25-26 per hour, 2nd shift - $27-29 per hour Core Responsibilities Material Inspection: Verify inbound raw materials and outbound finished products against engineering blueprints and client specifications prior to receipt or shipping. Production Monitoring: Conduct pre-production, during-production, and pre-shipment inspections. Pull random samples and check functionality, dimensions, and weights. Defect Management: Reject, tag, and discard or return defective items and faulty equipment. Identify root causes and communicate corrective actions to production supervisors. Documentation & Reporting: Log inspection results, classify defects, and input data into quality tracking databases. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure measurement instruments (e.g., calipers, gauges, micrometers) remain calibrated and report tools needing repair. Key Requirements & Skills Technical Acumen: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and procedural manuals. Precision & Math: Basic math skills combined with experience using specialized measuring and testing equipment. Detail-Oriented: Exceptional visual and observational skills to spot flaws, deviations, and inconsistencies. If interested, apply here directly!
