The mission of Circular Services is to keep valuable materials in circulation and minimize the cost and environmental impact of landfills. The company services municipal contracts with some of the largest and fastest growing cities in the U.S. including New York City, Austin, San Antonio, and Phoenix.About the Role:The Operations Supervisor will oversee the company's organizational processes and operations to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.Responsibilities:Supervision of multiple employees to ensure the coordination of satisfying customer needs.Positively and effectively lead teams to increasingly higher levels of productivity, quality and customer service.Constantly making sure that safety is our number one priority, every day in everything we do.Budget ManagementOrganizing open orders, delivery appointments, requests, etc. to ensure all customers are serviced efficiently and profitablySolving problems as they arise, often in urgent situationsWorking various short- and long-term research and improvement projects as neededExcellent mechanical ability and strong analytical skillsDemonstrated ability to follow procedure and work from a set of written instructionsAbility to work in a plant processing environment for extended periods of timeStrong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsFlexibility required to work successfully on a teamActive individual who will be comfortable spending most of the day walkingMust speak and understand English; Spanish spoken/written fluency is a plusPerform other duties as neededMinimum Job Qualifications:Previous supervisory skills in a diverse, fast-paced manufacturing/production environment.Be positive with proven ability to mentor team growth and succession.Excellent time management, organizational, prioritization and computer and office skills.Be willing to work second shift, while demonstrating excellent attendance.Be a solution finder, a problem solver who enjoys making things better through people.Preferred Job Qualifications:Previous supervisory skills in a diverse, fast-paced manufacturing/production environmentExcellent mechanical ability and strong analytical skillsDemonstrated ability to follow procedure and work from a set of written instructionsAbility to work in a plant processing environment for extended periods of timeStrong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsFlexibility required to work successfully on a teamActive individual who will be comfortable spending most of the day walkingBasic computer skillsGood time management and multi-tasking abilityMust speak and understand English; Spanish spoken and written fluency is a plusWorking Conditions and Physical Requirements:The normal work environment is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and vibration.
