Operations Coodinator

Overview The Operations Coordinator at SRS Building Products manages daily warehouse operations, ensuring work orders are completed accurately and on schedule. The role focuses on customer satisfaction by resolving complaints, supporting delivery requirements, coordinating inventory with the Branch Manager using Agility software, and overseeing the dispatch of delivery trucks. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring precision and timeliness. Resolve customer complaints swiftly, engaging warehouse and delivery personnel as needed. Supervise loading/unloading of orders for vendors and customers, maintaining company standards. Dispatch trucks with On Demand routing software to guarantee timely delivery to worksites. Track and report stock levels in Agility, providing data-driven insights to the Branch Manager. Conduct inventory activities: purchasing, cycle counts, and resolution of damaged or outdated stock. Implement order processing and day‑end balancing procedures. Represent the company with superior customer service and support the Branch Manager’s strategic goals. Travel & Physical Requirements The position requires occasional travel to regional branches for audits and meetings. Physical demands include sitting at a desk, standing, walking, handling objects, lifting up to 15 pounds (occasionally up to 25 pounds), and exposure to noise and weather conditions. Working Conditions The role operates in a fast‑paced warehouse environment with high energy and deadline pressure, requiring strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and maintain inventory levels. Preferred Qualifications Experience with advanced warehouse management systems and process improvements. Leadership of cross‑functional warehouse teams and mentoring ability. Customer relationship management strategies. Negotiation skills for conflict resolution. Advanced analytical tools beyond MS Office for data‑driven decisions. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in warehouse operations. Occupational safety & health certification advantageous. Ability to support strategic planning and vendor relationship management. Minimum Education A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Preferred Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. Minimum Years of Experience 1–2 years related experience or a combination of education and experience. Certifications None required, though safety or inventory management certifications may be viewed favorably. Interpersonal: Build positive relationships with team members and stakeholders. Salary and Benefits Hourly wage ranges from $23.51 to $29.90, with overtime based on business needs. Eligible for performance‑based bonuses, commissions, car allowance, and travel reimbursement.
