SOUS CHEF (FULL TIME)

Position Details We are hiring immediately for a full time SOUS CHEF position. Location: Asbury Automotive - 6655 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, GA 30328 (online applications accepted only). Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:00 am – 2:30 pm (full‑time, additional details upon interview). Requirements: Teamwork, organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Perks: Willing to train! Job Summary Helps the Executive Chef prepare and cook foods, coordinates the activities of cooks and other food‑service associates, and assumes responsibility for the kitchen and food‑service associates in the absence of the Executive Chef. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards, ensuring deadlines are met. Supervise hourly food‑service associates: interview, schedule, payroll, train, counsel, review performance, recommend disciplinary action. Store food in designated areas following all corporate, state, and federal safety and sanitation procedures. Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures. Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils; clean workstation before leaving; keep display equipment clean. Interact with customers to resolve complaints service‑oriented manner; relay relevant information to supervisor. Demonstrate full understanding of daily menu items and explain them accurately to associates and customers. Keep up with peak production and service hours. Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies; track production, consumption, and waste; inform supervisor when supplies or product are low. Perform other duties as assigned.
