Job Location: Mount Laurel, NJ 08054 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $76,000.00 Salary/year Job Shift: Day Position Summary The Lead, Home Sleep Testing Operations & Fulfillment coordinates daily home sleep testing (HST) fulfillment and device-operations activities to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of testing kits to patients. The Lead serves as the senior operational resource for fulfillment staff, provides hands‑on training and workflow direction, monitors quality and service levels, and escalates operational issues to the Manager or Director of Operations. This role is ideal for an experienced fulfillment, warehouse, medical-device, DME, or healthcare-operations professional who remains directly involved in daily production while providing informal leadership to the team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Daily Fulfillment Leadership Coordinate daily priorities for HST kit assembly, order processing, shipping, returns, device turnaround, and exception management. Assign work based on order volume, carrier cutoff times, available device inventory, staffing coverage, and urgent patient or provider needs. Perform hands‑on fulfillment activities, including kit assembly, labeling, packing, shipping, receiving, return processing, and device inspection. Verify kit completeness, device assignment, serial-number accuracy, patient materials, return labels, and shipping documentation before release. Monitor shipment and return exceptions; coordinate recovery steps for delayed, lost, damaged, incomplete, or undeliverable kits. Escalate patient-impacting issues, device failures, shipping disruptions, inventory shortages, and potential privacy or quality concerns promptly. Device & Inventory Control Maintain accurate tracking of HST devices, kits, accessories, consumables, shipping materials, and related supplies. Inspect returned devices; complete required cleaning or disinfection, charging, functional checks, kit replenishment, and return‑to‑stock steps in accordance with organizational policy and manufacturer instructions. Conduct routine inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, identify damaged or missing items, and support loss‑prevention efforts. Monitor device availability and turnaround to help ensure sufficient capacity for anticipated order volume. Assist with receiving, organizing, storing, and rotating inventory and supplies. Quality & Compliance Follow and reinforce approved SOPs for HST fulfillment, device handling, inventory, cleaning/disinfection, shipping, returns, and documentation. Complete quality‑control checks and maintain required operational records. Identify recurring fulfillment errors, workflow gaps, safety risks, or training needs; recommend practical corrective actions. Protect patient privacy and confidential information in all fulfillment, labeling, shipping, tracking, and communication activities. Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and audit‑ready fulfillment environment. Team Support & Training Serve as a first‑line resource for fulfillment specialists and new employees. Train team members on standard work, kit configuration, device handling, workflow systems, quality checkpoints, and safety procedures. Lead daily huddles or shift‑start check‑ins, communicate priorities, and ensure handoffs between team members are complete. Provide real‑time coaching and feedback; elevate persistent performance concerns to the manager. Support cross‑training so the team can maintain continuity during absences, volume spikes, and changing operational needs. Performance & Process Improvement Track and report daily operational measures, including orders processed, kits shipped, backlog, return volume, device availability, shipment exceptions, and quality findings. Participate in process‑improvement efforts to reduce fulfillment errors, shorten order‑to‑ship time, improve device turnaround, and lower cost per completed test. Support new‑market launches, carrier changes, new‑device deployment, technology implementations, and workflow updates as needed. Collaborate with patient support, clinical operations, billing, technology, and vendor partners to resolve issues that affect HST completion. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 3+ years of experience in fulfillment, warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, medical devices, DME, diagnostics, or healthcare operations. Demonstrated experience coordinating workflows, training peers, or serving as a senior team member or shift lead. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined procedures consistently. Experience with inventory tracking, shipping platforms, barcode scanning, serial‑number tracking, or related operational systems. Comfortable using Microsoft 365, spreadsheets, email, and operational software. Ability to prioritize competing deadlines, solve problems quickly, and communicate clearly across teams. Ability to lift and move typical HST devices, kits, cartons, and shipping materials safely. Preferred Qualifications Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in home sleep testing, sleep medicine, medical‑device logistics, DME, or remote patient monitoring. Familiarity with direct‑to‑patient shipping and return workflows. Experience working in a HIPAA‑regulated or otherwise privacy‑sensitive environment. Knowledge of device cleaning/disinfection protocols, quality systems, or healthcare operational documentation. Physical and Work Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry equipment or supplies up to 25 lbs. Ability to work flexible hours based on operational needs. Reliable transportation may be required for travel between assigned sites.
