Associate Director, Health Technology Consulting, Revenue Cycle Technology - Meditech

Summary Guidehouse’s Health Technology Consulting practice seeks an Associate Director to lead revenue cycle technology engagements across our commercial health client portfolio. The role is client-facing and senior, advising health system executives on strategy, platform assessment, implementation oversight, and post‑live optimization. Responsibilities Lead client engagements as the senior Guidehouse presence on revenue cycle technology accounts, owning relationships with CFOs, VPs of Revenue Cycle, and CDIOs, and managing workstreams across team members. Own the quality and direction of all work, delivering insights rather than only facilitating processes. Provide deep technical credibility and practical recommendations on platform platforms such as Meditech Expanse, Epic, Oracle Health, and athenahealth. Drive practice growth by identifying expansion opportunities, supporting proposal development, representing Guidehouse at industry events, and contributing to the firm’s external thought leadership. Build and develop engagement teams, coaching Analysts through Senior Consultants and enhancing their revenue cycle technology expertise. Minimum Qualification Requirements Eight to twelve years of combined experience in health IT consulting, EHR implementation, or revenue cycle operations; prior consulting firm experience strongly preferred. Deep Meditech revenue cycle expertise with at least three years working in Epic revenue cycle environments. Meaningful experience with at least one of Epic, Oracle Health, or athenahealth in a revenue cycle context. Track record of managing complex engagements with C‑suite client exposure. Experience leading and developing consulting staff across multi‑workstream engagements. Fluency in revenue cycle performance metrics (DNFB, DCFB, A/R days, first‑pass rate, denial rate, clean claim rate, net collection rate). Understanding of payer and regulatory requirements intersecting with EHR configuration—including CMS billing rules, prior authorization workflows, and value‑based contracting structures. Bachelor’s degree; a high school diploma with ten+years of relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree in health informatics, business administration, public health, or a related field. Experience working across payer and provider client environments. Familiarity with healthcare IT standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance considerations relevant to EHR implementation and optimization. Experience supporting or contributing to digital transformation, AI integration, or analytics strategy within health system engagements. Annual salary range: $135,000.00 – $225,000.00, with compensation determined by skills, experience, and other business needs.
