Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for oncology patients in a hospital setting, delivering evidence-based nursing interventions.
- Administer medications per physician orders, including chemotherapy and supportive therapies, and monitor for adverse effects.
- Continuously assess patients, monitor vitals, and respond to changes in condition with timely interventions.
- Initiate and manage IV therapies and central line care as appropriate; coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document care and outcomes in the electronic health record; ensure accurate medication administration, orders, and discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, symptom management, safety, and plan of care; collaborate with the care team to support smooth transitions.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience in an acute care setting
- AHA BLS certification preferred; AHA ACLS certification preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm-7:30 am) on a 12x3 schedule
- Applicant location restrictions: No local candidates within 50 miles
- Comfortable working in a hospital-based oncology/medical-surgical unit
