Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – School Setting (Travel)

Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ 86404
Pay: $1,600 – $1,800 per week
Start Date: 04/13/2026
Contract: 26 weeks (through 10/10/2026)
Schedule: 4x10s or 5x8s (must work until 6:00 PM MST)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in a school-based setting. This role focuses on helping individuals overcome physical, developmental, and emotional challenges while improving daily living and functional skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Occupational Therapists with assessments, interventions, and treatment plans

• Implement therapy programs to support student development and independence

• Document patient/student progress and maintain accurate records

• Prepare and adapt therapy and instructional materials

• Support students in achieving health and functional goals

Schedule & Work Details:

• 26-week commitment required

• Flexible schedule options: 4x10s or 5x8s

• Must be available to work until 6:00 PM MST

• School-based environment

• DSCTop (daily documentation)

• EIEPPRO

Requirements:

• Active COTA certification

• Experience in school or pediatric setting preferred

• Strong documentation and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with therapy and education teams
